Send to friendHow can lying deceiving uncaring unfeeling untruthful unrelentless biased childless no experience with children, read out of a book what is best for children be responsible for the lives of our precious children and their family who love the children and be responsible for where the children live, who with, how many visits the parent can have until the children are 18! Is placing the children with strangers in the best interests of the children? Is covering up what the children suffer at these placements good for the best interests of the children?
I don't think so!
These so called humans have been getting away with too much for too long and the ones who are suffering most is the children they pretend to be protecting.
Help is on the way!

Just found out that the D.o.H.S officer that my partner was dealing with had just made a Vexatious Police report in the last 3 months, ( Heard it on the Police radio 468.150 Queanbeyan).
Radio put it over as:
1=Will Assault Police,
2=Is Dealing in Drugs,
3=Dose have Mental Illness,
4=Will escape from custody,
5=Will avoid being arrested,
6=Impersonates an Officer.
and the list went on, and on.
I can-not remember the rest of it, as it Pissed me of to much. (Rattled my Cage so to speak)
But when the Officer's came back to talk to me, I had the impression from them that it was a complete joke on what Intel was provided.
If this was true, I would not have been give a Firearms Licence (Needed for Animal Welfare as Live on a farm) or have the right to Buy Firearms, as the NSW Police Commissioner would have put a stop to that, Let alone I would have had Charges to the Effect, also the info would have been/should have been in the Subpoenaed Documents that were needed for Family Court, The Solicitor even stated that there is no Adverse notes.
Hence, Merrie had Bullshit-ed in the last 3 Months, She has been moved on to Another department.???? (She was From Mayfield/Charlestown D.O.H.S)
We have two Children and two more on the way, I can only assume that the department is planing a Snatch and grab plan on the/our Unborn babies, I/we must do what I/we can to stop the Predators act that is at work.

So they are now "Community Services" under the heading of "Human Services" which seems to be the umbrella lable for various departments now like Housing Comission etc?

It is irrational to consider that Rudd or anyone know better than I do regarding the wellbeing of my children. One bright example is the pedophile, one claim that one does only good to children, one's name indicate that one loves children.
It is unnatural for anyone to care for someone's children. Sometimes we have to.
The more government interfere with families and individuals the more problems we do have.
I've tried to explain to lone fathers on many forums and in many countries, unfortunately they are almost all unable to see reality of life objectively. No I do not say that all fathers are dysfunctional. It is equally untrue as alledging that all divorced mothers are dysfunctional. Both most often are wrong and almost always both hurt their children. The blame I put on government which stirs the parents in problem rather than to help them.
Unless it is obvious, normally it is wrong to give father an access to his child on weekends. It is wrong no matter how you look. As I said unless it is clear that one of the parents is unfit, the child must have both parents all the time and both loving each other. This is best interest of the child. It is the worst possible interest of child what our idiots in power do - separate parents, make their family permanently dysfunctional and what the child learn? everyday mum plus part time boyfriend, and on weekend dad and likely his girlfriend. How possibly the child will know what is normal and natural family? How child will know what is natural love when mum and dad talk garbage that they love one while they hate one another???
There are two logical possibilities. One that govt absolutely does not get involved than nature would regulate it perfectly including interdependence, or the government gets involved wisely and in very clear cases. The second one was about never ever demonstrated successfully.
Ok. there was a period when government have removed children from dysfunctional aboriginal families. About everyone agreed that there was a need and nobody had a doubt that the families were dysfunctional. Well, at least in one case the two boys when grew up they told their stories on tv and one which stayed with mother who was an addict, missed education and so called good preparation for life, the other had all perfect but missed dysfunctional but natural family. Both compared their lives and none was sure nor the panel of expert which one truly benefitted in their respective situations. The one who stayed with mom, he claim that he saved her life, and the other one was extremely lucky that he had as normal as possible foster and just one fammily.
In most cases however there is not clear reason to interfere and therefore the outcome is clearly always hurting children and both parents as well as society.
In every case there is parental alienation syndrome and it is unavoidable no matter what.
There are a few factors which perpetuate this madness:

Pure greed of legal industry to earn money at expense of innocent children suffering and their parents.

I'm unsure about the "legal industry" part of it. Obviously it can be assumed some money changes hands and some time is taken up either side of our court rooms and monies collected.
But I do not believe that is where the big money goes or the type of money that would fuel a billion dollar industry like Out of Home Care.
Cases moving through court are but small stepping stones in the life of a foster child. Every day must be paid for and certainly every day is accounted for and people reimbursed accordingly.
A day here and there in court just doesn't seem to add up as far as looking for the culprits; the ones that have shares in this business.
The strangest part of all this to me is that it is not the government employess that benefit. I'm sure the salaries are comfortable and they look forward to financially secure retirements. But the big money doesn't go their way does it?
Now the foster parents, well yes they do receive cash (tax free cash). But again they aren't living in luxury generally and certainly wouldn't survive just on the allowances given to them for having the children in their homes.
So we take away government employees and minus court staff and then subtract the foster parent volunteers.
Who is left?
The words "non-government" and "not-for-profit" ring a bell?
We call them "Charities" as well, how ironic.

I do not wish to follow your thinking path.
Perhaps if I show what I mean, it may explain to you what I wrote. Imagine courts somehow acted to find the truth and justice and solve the social problems. Family and criminal and other problems they deal with. What would they do? Joint the dole cue?
You surely know how hard is these days to hold a job. How hard is to hold a good job?
YOu imagine that not only we do have lots of judges and lawyers and each year plenty new ones graduate and desperately want your money. Did I said something wrong?
Well unless there is a need for them, they have no chance to get job in legal industry. I coined this term and stand for it.
I do not care of the dollar value but the mechanism. Let me show on my example how this is done. I quote:
magistrate R - do you agree if you children are taken from you and given to your wife in full custody? [nobody will say yes and they know it and use it to their advantage] If I am bad husband or father than yes otherwise no. [I thank God for wisdom at that moment for such good answer and actually requesting for justice] magistrate R - we are here not to judge if you are good father or husband but weather you agree and I decide anyway that your children are taken away and given to your wife and if you disagree with my decision you can fight against your wife in courts. [Here the magistrate R showed his irrational thinking or rather to the stereotype which earn him money. He clearly set us into fight. Logically I should fight him not my wife, but he did the trick thousands of times before and did this time without thinking. Typical man will go for and fight in court]
Tell me regardless who pays, is court fight cheap? Often part of the house is lost in court battle or even whole house. Regardless if it is initially $1000, this is a good milking cow because in most cases you would have to come to them and complain that your wife restrict you an access to children. You will go to dispute house and assets and so on. They always earn even if not you but public money go for that.
Imagine if they did everything to fix your family. They would hardly earned anything.
Can't you see that the courts have no incentives to solve your and social problems but have plenty of incentives to maintain them? Please do not show a few exemptions.
I'm sorry but I do not want to spend more time on this, I hope it is clear and well observable. If I will be active on this site, I may bring much more material and explanations on many aspects of this crime.

You are saying because there are lots of new lawyers on the streets that need to be kept employed that children are in foster care?
I think the point here is that the odd care and protection order meandering its way through the court process and the proceeding long term orders that may develop are not actually what takes up all of children courts time or contributes to their incomes in any major way.
I assume you yourself were in Family Court?
No they aren't there to solve problems they are there to uphold law within the context of whichever act they are dealing with.
But on the subject of foster children the money goes to the government funded Private Sector.
Court being a small part of the initial process.

Iv'e read one of those NGO's budgets recently , not only do they get consulted on changing LEGISLATION to thier adavantage, hence they also proclaim to wanting to become a Entrepreneurial/Conglomerate in the future FosterCare business.... How disgusting is that .
And when this certain NGO advertises for more caseworkers the Lurks & Perks are quite advantageous, they also offer thier new caseworkers a psychologist course all paid for by the NGO = Double Whammy Re: Take the kids and diagnose Mum or Dad or both with some type of mental illness.
Not bad for a so called charity = Entrepreneurial conglomerate............

Thank you PJ. I just wish I could figure out what to do next. Those pieces of the puzzle all started to coming together awhile ago.
My first hint was when I experienced NGO's on the Central Coast seeming to have complete control over DoCS staff to the point of telling their carers not to talk to DoCS employees about the children they have in care.
Before that I had one phonecall with a LWB caseworker (are they called SOCS?)and the arrogance I struck being told the way it was going to be with children in my care that were still under DoCS wing. Pathetic wing that it was.
And there is favouritism with funding.. some companies (I mean what else can you call them now) being given more funding to take more kids than others over the next two years.
But it all got me thinking and reading same as you. And now the picture is becomming clearer about this industry.
The Forgotten got an apology but weren't those little children also with churches,charities, NGO's, and the Not-for-Profits?
Has this been this way for generations and we are only now seeing it or have they gotten too greedy recently and become more obvious. This would certainly be a symptom of the arrogance I've encountered.
Or did our government just get lazier. Too much bad press with children in care so lets pass the buck and privatise foster care.
Because if DoCS have policy where they do not go an investigate a child being held in the home of an NGO carer then are they held accountable for post-placement abuses? And I guess if they can't investigate and an NGO isn't likely to dob in their own people and sacrifice future income then as our little Aussies are moved to the sole care of these companies then the Australian public will surely hear less and less from them.
I know, I'm rambling.. thinking out loud. It has begun aleady this move to place all children behind the many more closed doors the NGO's can provide. I'm unsure what can be done.
This time last year the Woods Report had been presetned and there was this celebration througout NSW that left my stomach churning. Everyone thought these Recommendations to let the Charities take over the business of fostering was going to save the kids, afterall DoCS had recieved a lot of timely bad press just before that.

Hey Pest Control, thanks for the read and yes was interesting. I remember the compulsive carer article.
I felt a bit of empathy for the woman involved. I have fostered for over a decade, it is what I do... hobby/work/calling etc so I imagined I also fell into the "Compulsive Carer" catagory - personally couldn't figure out why it was considered a bad thing.
As for the happenings in parliament, I doubt I will ever understand it but I have met Life Without Barrier staff and had some horrible experiences with how they treat children in care. I can only describe it as heartless and arrogant. I've also discovered that Human Services will not step on LWB toes to help a child.
DoCS, by the looks of it, are also encouraging LWB to grow while limiting other NGO's. So maybe not a surprise how arrogant they are.
I'm left wondering who is in control of foster care in Australia and a little surprised that Mr and Mrs Aussie Tax Payer aren't more courios.
DoCS/Human Services need to step up and take fostering away from private industry and Australia needs to demand they do it. When this is done then we can address the changes that need to take place within this government department.

This NGO was formed in the late 90s by Lawyers & Businessmen , and have expanded with offices everywhere into 3 States, NSW SA & QLD early as 2001 and have been questioned in Parliment SA and NSW way back in 2001 as the two links below proves this

These 3 States seem to have the most complaints since 2001 and have more kids than ever before in wardship
Please remember this is now a billion dollar industry and the more kids in care the more funding NGOs and Docs receive from the respected Governments so why the hell Docs would want to reunite the children back to the care of their Parents?
No kids in care = no Money, More kids = lots and lots of money and governments can pay up to $15,000 per week to have one of these kids babysat by a non-government (welfare) agency".as stated in the Australian newspaper

Hey PC, these are the puzzles pieces I haven't figured out... given that my focus is on the children in care and not the rights and wrongs of how they got there, at present.
1. How does it benefit DoCS to have NGO's taking over the roll of administering foster care.
2. In what ways do the NGO's profit from this funding; are their super contributions or bonuses of some kind that go along with company cars and flash offices.
3. If DOCS will not police the NGO's then who in state government has the ability to do so.
See it makes little sense to me, the government would make huge savings if they and they alone controlled all foster care placements.
Then we could put the NGO's in the role of Early Intervention, and other services and advocate occupations that work alongside DoCS without conflict of interest.
Obviously nothing changes the fact that Human Services need an overhaul and that their casework is damaging children but right now there are many private companies in the foster business and they are growing fast.
LWB looks like an NGO on steroids right now... I found the following ad at MyCareer.com tonight but am unsure how old it is.
"... Intensive Therapeutic Foster Carers will be provided with a generous salary between $60,000 - $80,000, to be negotiated, while Long Term and Respite Foster Carers will be provided with a substantial tax-free Carer reimbursement of at least $600.00 per week."
They are in every state of Australia and are also in NZ.
Ethically/morally something is wrong. Private companies should not be able to profit and expand because of child suffering. They have some program in Africa as well, is the Australian tax payer also funding that while the foster children with DoCS foster parents get so much less?

My answers to your questions are
1.
Not all docs offices benefits from NGOs from taking the role of administering foster care but a few do, mainly in regional areas of NSW, QLD &SA
I feel there are deals under the table being done by the NGOs and the heads of these docs offices
Like i said in my last posting in questioning the assets of these people to see if their lifestyles can be sustained on their salaries.
Please never forget this is a great business with a huge amount of money to be made
I am aware that LWB won the 2007 business award and is expanding everywhere in oz but have the most offices in the 3 states i mentioned before
2. The NGOs profit from receiving around $6,000 per week per child as stated by Journalist Caroline Overington of the Australian newspaper and recently buy the SMH with payments up to $15,000 per WEEK for a difficult high needs child , absolutely mind boggling !!!
3. GOOD QUESTION, i just dont know! nobody i think! crazy isnt it?
Its with great sadness reading the horror stories of parents, and the good foster carers being fausely accused by docs , and who are constantly screaming out their innocents! we all know what docs and some NGOs do and are aware of their dirty tricks!!
It all boils down in keeping children in the System ,just plain disgusting isnt it!

Deals under the table and the rewording of the legislation is privvy to Catholiccare, thats right they get to peruse the legislation before it is passed and they also get a say in what and how it is worded re: all to their advantage.
They are also very happy to diagnose children re: EXTRA BENEFITS....I've said it before here that Catholiccare intend becoming a Entrepuarnial Conglomerate through Fostercare, which i find absolutely disgusting,appalling and immoral...talk about SELF RIGHTEOUS.
And DIRTY TRICKS ... I've wittnessed/experienced many over the past 8months of dealing with this totally unethical Dpt concerning our children.

We certainly do have a new Stolen Generation right under our noses and it is the very people they are persecuting that has realised it , for the more they persecute us the more they confirm it. There is nothing complicated about it as it is PURE CHILD TRAFFICKING and the system is rotten to the CORE.
There are many of us gathering with compounding evidence and we are committed in every sense of the word. Their fear tactics are a waste of time and efforts.

Hey Pest Control, no worries about delays in answering. I am so bored lately I find myself just parked up on Altnews and reading a lot of stuff that I cannot work out. Really I should do my PC a favour and reboot or something.
I've also read everything Alecomm has to offer and now and again cruise over the the Human Services site to do a search on the odd bit of rubbish.
Money has a part in all of this but I doubt it is the "under the table" kind. Or a mental block is stopping me from accepting the notion.
The NGO's profitting - besides the deep level of disgust I feel for them I don't think their profitting is the answer either. It is a happy symptom in their favour of what is happening.
DoCS must benefit for it to be happening or maybe if there are such things as government auditors they just have not picked up that handing huge amounts of cash over to NGO's to do the same thing DoCS do is moronic.
Has anyone asked DoCS why they give children to NGO's and got an answer? Any reporter asked that simple question?
I will ask on Monday - lucky me has a meeting with some HS managers. Nup don't know why, never do. Last time I asked anything about the Woods Report etc I was informed they didn't really know anything about it.

The only articles I have seen recently are awards given to different foster parents. Photos of them, their full names given and the area they foster in mentioned and the ages of children they have mentioned. Annoyed me since I had been warned to give no information about myself online. Annoyed me more that I listened to that advice for such a long time.
I've been told to shoosh while time and time again I see others identified easily and congradulated for thier contributions to fostercare. Pfft.
It may be time we just start asking this simple question of the politicians as to how the government departments benefit from state wards being placed under the administration of any NGO in Australia.

1, If this NGO have propose ally done a deal with the former Minister for Community Services Fay Lo Po way back in 2001 which was investigated by the ICAC( which i cant find any report of it on the ICAC site) and later in 2001 in South Australia with Ms Roxanne Ramsey, Executive Director of the Country and Disability Division.do you think is is possible they may have done deals with selected Docs offices in NSW SA QLD to direct more children to their agency?

I'm going off on another tangent, my brain is a very disorganised place.
So you have a government department that is created to carry out a service in society.

Exactly right........ The NGO who has two of our four children thought thier carer was a sales Rep until i informed them otherwise.
There have been many abuses by this carer and since we have brought these abuses to the attention of the NGO/CC and DoCS they have done everything in thier power to protect and cover up this mans abuses of not just two children in his care, but all five children in the sibling group.
Neither DoCs nor CC were not anywhere to be seen whilst this carer was micro managing, abusing and controlling the sibling group . Hence it has now been eight months and in that eight months they have now cleaned up thier books and claim since we advised them of all the abuses things have been put in place for the best interest of the children re: lies & corruption
In other words, the NGO gets to keep the contracts on our two children until they are eighteen, the abuser has been rewarded for his serious abuses and our children have been hidden away and gagged.
Oh, did i mention the case manager that took our children into court lied to the magistrate when he asked > Is there any maternal family able to care for these children? Her answer was NO .... a blantant and cruel cruel lie to say the least and the start of very traumatic nightmare.
What To Do Next ?
We ... the maternal family are not going anywhere...they can sweep the abuses of our children under a rug... but they are not sweeping us under any rug. Love and maternal instinct will find a way and we are not going to let our children down as DoCs and CC have done.
Did i mention, another of our children in the sibling group and in the care of DoCS at the time and now with an NGO, a beautiful little boy was kicked in the stomach..smacked in the face..had his clothing ripped off and screamed at, that nobody wanted him etc etc etc. Re: Greivious Bodily Harm.

I made a comment about foster carers not being able to live on just the allowance they get for fostering children.
I was thinking in terms of being a govt carer. Now if you get kids diagnosed with whatever the monies goes up. Kids with special needs the money goes up.
But some of the NGO's pay (charge DoCS) big money as their basic allowance. I wonder if DoCS staff ever wonder why one week with their foster parents the child costs one amount and then suddenly the child is placed with an NGO family and the money doubles in some instances.
They don't have to live off it of course, foster parents even get a letter once a year to give to centrelink saying they don't have to seek work.
And of course they also don't have to spend it on the child alone, no proof is needed and just because you get twice as much you aren't required to send them to better schools or buy them nicer clothing and toys.
If you dump them in repsite care you still get paid the time they are away as well. How weird is that though - say a kid goes into respite care for a weekend with a govt carer; the govt carer will get paid less for having them for the weekend then the NGO carer gets paid for not having them.
But yes some families could do very nicely off the fostering allowance alone without any other income on top.
Mr and Mrs Taxpayer should be having a bloody fit.
They just don't know.

A certain Foster Carer to two of our children is recieving ($1,608-00 per fortnight plus ) re: care+1 and is now greedily looking for CARE+2 on top of that the NGO gets another cut of the Billion Dollar PIE for eighteen years.

The Carer who is "caring" for my children was geting $2400.00 per fortnight! 2 have run away now she only gets at least $1200.00 a fortnight and is trying to say the 4 year old is so violent that she needs more money for "difficult child" and much respite!. The child was not violent before she went into "CARE." Now that the "carer's" husband has lost his license for his 3rd. drink driving offence they have changed their minds and want to keep the children. Money being the main objective with her as the children come in the same clothes I purchased for them and with holes in their shaoe and she will not even purchase NIt Treatment and the children have had nits since March 2009! No matter that the children beg to come home evey visit. The Department says they know what is in the BEST INTERESTS OF OUR CHILDREN.
It is obvious to any caring person that THIS PARTICULAR "CARER" does not care about the children and it is only the money! However Docs Approved this placement that is why they will not back down even after over 20 Risk of harm Reports on this family since the children have been there. JUST ASK THE DEPARTMENT BECAUSE THEY ARE NEVER WRONG AND THEY SAY THAT THEY HAVE THE BEST INTERESTS OF THE CHILDREN! Yeah Right! Look at all of the children that as soon as they are 12 years of age they run back to their parent. The money Docs spend on these Court Cases is atrocious in our case 7 Barristers and Solicitors. Plus the "carer's" payments. Well over $1.5 million dollars. They could put that money to much better use by supporting the children and their parents.

I'm finding all this very surreal and at times i'm so affected by not just our childrens tragic chain of events since being taken into the care of DoCS/CS illegally, but also everyone elses stories here which are heart wrenching to say the very least.
We also have to bear our children being dressed in almost rags whilst thier carer brags on two global internet sites of his new iphones, key pads and other exuberant toys he buys himself.!
DoCs is an outright farce/joke re: rotten to the core....forcing tradgety after tradgety in the lives of our children, our families and not to mention ripping us apart emotionally and mentally with thier cruel lies, corruption and continued abuse and instilled culture of a system out of control, that has now privatised our childrens lives to cold and heartless NGo's.

the minister for docs i think is a liar like the case workers these lies are fed back to rudd dep't as he has no idea of whats going on behind the scenes, as i said we had no visiting rights of our 6 G/KIDS,.. docs lies they favoured the other side of the family the mothers side and let the 2nd eldest daughter 16 go home to live with mom and stepfather whome the court said she was not supposed to live with if she wanted the kids back to prove she could be found responsible over a year or 2 daughter then falls in love with stepfather goes everywhere with him even at night and docs knew and let this continue is this the best interest of the child, docs tried to hide this from us but the eldest sister 18 was so concerned she dobed docs in to us, how do we know she wasent pregent to him and the pregency terminated whatever, this same stepfather mom got off the internet within a few month after the marriage breakup after 18 years of marriage, came running straight off the streets one night with a carton of groog under arm as mom loved getting drunk then straight in bed with mom that night then next day they go arm in arm to docs to apply for custody and the case worker said this should be ok and agreed what a deadbeat case worker, we just cant beleive how these evil people can opperate and the stupid government lets them keep doing things of this nature,
we were supposed to be getting progress reports from docs as part of the court order on the progress of the children in foster care docs broke this order not only on this point but much more,.. wher's the judge now he couldent give a damm neither the government, what a twisted satantic cruel organization, we must act now any ideas as to how. where ther's a will ther's a way

To PROTEST at the Children's Courts is a good starting point as this is the initial place of lies and deceit by DoCS workers and one where the Magistrate never has the time to hear our defence or proof that DoCs has made thier decisions in haste.
There we would certainly find many many more persecuted parents that are not privvy to the internet support sites.
This is what Lawyer Robert McLachlan claimed on ABC National Radio this morning and he should know as he is there most days of the week.

yes its done for money in cases like this its like cash for kids, my wife n i feel so much for you we are the grand parents of 6 of our grand kids taken by docs like the stolen generation all over again.
docs turned on us wont give us visiting rights the marrage breakup was between our son n x wife not us, the kids cried for us 4 years back now, we tried hard for custody but docs have it all their way n brain washed the kids they know they can get away with even murder, God will punish them but so must the general commumity.
for the big salaries these people are getting and their non australian attudude we must fight them and replace them with a better docs system as they are very cockey and and know the minister is on there side as the complaints unit isnt worth 2 bob, we all must stand up and fight them we will win if we do there is strength in numbers we musent let them keep getting away with it, time to act.

Where we all stand
In the last few messages alone we've seen some very different sides of what is going wrong.
The granparents denied children, the parents denied children, foster parents who witness it going wrong and you Sniper who had multiple losses forced on him. And not forgetting Lukes father who had the permenant loss of his child.
It feels like we are standing in a circle and in the center is all the cruelty, unfairness and in some cases torture we've experienced at the hands of our own government.
We've seen children we love damaged, families ripped apart and another generation lost to us.
Some of us stand shoulder to shoulder with similar stories and some are looking at each other across the pain from opposite sides.
But while we are in this circle we could reach out and make sure the person on either side of us keeps standing.

When my partner and I where Foster Carers ( bit over a year ago ) We receieved $400 per child per fortnight from DoCS and this went up with there age.We looked after two that made it $800 per fortnight.On top of that you receive extra benefits based on your income from centre link Eg tax benefit a n b as well as parenting payment.So You can get up to another $400 extra a fortnight on top .We always laughted when other carers bleeded on about not receiving enough finacial surport for being a Foster carer. This is simply is not true.When your a Carer DoCs allways bang on about respite to avoid what they call burn out.If you take it up( We never Did)they pay for that also at no loss of support to you as a carer.But hears the catch ,Carers who use respite are then Exposed to DoCs accusing them of not being able to cope, giving them power to move the children from that carer to another.Thats Why many children in Foster care move placments often.Being from the other side of DoCS ( Foster Carer )Its quiet clear to us that Parents are told one thing and Foster Carers are told another. Thats how DoCs workers Play this disturbing game whitch in the end has no Concern for anyone never the less the children,But keeps them actively employed.Our position is to warn as many people of Foster care as possible,When theres no more Carers ,Then and only then will they do something to change there disturbing ,Twisted ,sick systeam.
Random thoughts
Yep it's about 400.00 a fortnight for a child under 5 years old. You can get family assistance as well although it is means tested. They also send you a health card about 6 months into the placement if you're lucky.
I think that centrelink policy or whatever it is called has changed recently, I'm not sure if they still means test for short term and crisis placements.
Now if you take a littly out of my home and put them in a LWB's home they will instantly get 800.00 a fornight per child plus any additional benefits available. This is what one of LWB's foster parents told me and that was over a year ago now.
I'm unsure what a parenting payment is. DoCS also have to apply and pay full price for all pre-school attendance (not many foster parents are told that one). Foster parents are told to do it but after a query went the centrelink legislation team they came back and said that short term foster parents should not be the ones even applying for the child to go to pre-school.
I hate respite, never used it ever and never will. They get moved around enough. I have done plenty of respite though even for a whole month so Long Term carers can holiday.
Foster parents are told next to nothing. I can have a kid stay for 20 months and never ever be told why the child has been placed in care. Other times I find out by accident because the info got sent by mistake when it was supposed to go to some other extremely important persons in the childs life like their speech therapist. It's a joke.
PJ about a year ago I asked CentreCare (before the name change to Catholic Care) if they were recruiting foster parents and was told they only place teenagers.
Wesley Delmar when I talked to them were being stopped from expanding and were only allowed something like 94 placements here on the Central Coast over the next two years.
Barnardoes wont take you on while you have a DoCS child with you.
LWB - they wont talk to me or reply to any of my inquires.
The new player on the block seems to be Key Assessts. Least their title implies they're quite realistic about what they're up to.

Hi Scandal, you are correct we are not the biological parents. I was first trained in NZ where the term "caregiver" is used and not "foster parent". It is also made plain that if not the permenant/adoptive carer of a child you are not to allow the child to call you mum or aunty or anything similar.
Clear boundaries which I think gave me a good grounding and a very real sense of the biological parents importance. We are babysitters and accept this role happily.
But it is very different here, the training is different and the stigma attached to being a foster parent or a foster child is different. Different and damaging.
I wouldn't ever claim NZ is a bed of roses either, things still went wrong across the ditch. But here in Oz cases seem to go horribly wrong more often.
Here the child, how they are, how they feel, how they are expressing themselves and plans put in place do not reflect a system that considers children the priority. I have seen time and time again a system that decides an outcome and bulldozes its way towards it without concern or compassion.
And I see a greedy private industry taking advantage of a government department while there is no public confidence in it. And of course a government that would rather hand over the work than help the very people it was created to assist.
What to do next?
I'm sorry PJ, for you and for the little fella and how he has been treated as well as his siblings. I just can't fathom how these things happen, are witnessed and then ignored. It leaves me so scared for the kids in care. And of course I feel useless because I don't know how to fix it.
It doesn't surprise me, not now I have been around long enough in foster care to hear all the stories. Children being mistreated, abused, given drugs and mostly all the little ones so ignored by the people who are supposed to Care and Protect them.
Through it all each time I hear things like a little boy being kicked and hit I still tear up and feel completely powerless all over again.
PJ I don't believe DoCS themselves know. Not about the abuse, they hear about it and they ask for a report from whichever NGO is being accused I think and then the NGO writes one of their reports saying "Kids are settled blah blah blah...".
After they have recieved that I think their intra-agency policies then stop it going any further - investigation complete.
But if you think about the local DoCS office and its caseworkers and the middle managment.... I do not believe they see the bigger picture at all.
I'm thinking they haven't themselves worked out what is going on outside of their department. They get kids and they pass them on and not much else is thought about.
I don't know at this point who writes the cheques or does the deals with NGO's. A system like this that has been place for so long - and weren't the aboriginal children put with churches as well?
So if we find out what powers it, who on the government end is giving this billion dollar industry the seal of approval... then what?
Who is going to step up and fight Church and Charities in Australia? Just to get the public thinking in a different way about them is huge. Getting the local DoCS staff to open their eyes is massive.
Laura over at ozwards.webs.com has suggested convincing foster parents to move back to govt fostering. She points out being unsure how to go ahead with the idea although I believe it has merit.

The best interest of the child is NOT being adhered to at all. The Millions & Millions dollars they are throwing at thier system failure is going to reviews, studies, conferences, courses, NGO'S re: privatising the system will only prove to become an even bigger problem down the track, another political party to inherit and lay blame on the last one DITTO DITTO.
Government can only sweep so much under their rugs, pretty soon lumps will appear everywhere and people will be tripping over them left, right and centre.
No monies are being directed into restoring families, family support services, counselling etc etc.
We have NGO'S proclaiming thier future plans to become entrepenurial conglomerates in OOHC/foster care.

toooright, no time to muck about time to get a working model for the pm, we must come up with a peoples community body to have legal right to go into docs and make the right decisions for the best interest of the famlies not the best interest of docs and the foster carers.
this group must be a local peoples group consisting of men n wimen not just all wimen like a jury we will then bring all these case workers and managers to justice because they will leave a good track record to track down and they must be sacked including their minister, its the people that can get a government out of office why not docs it will be easy if we band together with a online actions groups PETITION signed by local members nurses community groups etc as all you hear these days is the pain docs are inflicting on good loving famlies.

Your lucky, I didnt even get that, I have one son that 5 and a daughter aged 4, god knows what They looks like, I have another son that is 3 and again, god knows what he looks like to.
5 yrs of no contact, Docs best interest of the child was to make sure the kids never know their true father.
Thats all about to chance, as redemption is about to take place and the best interest of the child will not be used as a tool for corruption.

To deny a child of its biological parents, siblings grandparents, maternal families is stealing the child's true identity, background and culture.
They hide our children away, gag them and then continue to persecute anyone that speaks out against thier cruel, corrupt, unethical standards and immoral actions.
They also live in hope that our children will not remember the assaults, mental and emotional abuses that occur whilst they are in the care of the state and also think that if enough time passes by, that they can cover it up long before our children turn eighteen. Hence, alienate thier true families in order for our children to have no real support ,other than lies and cover ups by these dispicable case workers and thier managers.
I have written diary's for our children in care with the names of every case worker/manager, NGO and everyone else i have alerted to the fact that our children have been assaulted and abused.
Our children have become "BIG BUSINESS" and nothing else matters

I want to but first I want your help to make most of the internet and right now at altnews. I have no success in sending an article, a large and extensive describing many aspects of the problem and some solutions. Now, if I may assure you all that please do not seek a fault in yourselves nor even in the other side of the marriage. Well do it for your own personal benefit. Until the government will interfere with families we do have and will blame government for all our problems. Wihout going into lengthy discussion and explanations, I can compare the situation to humans interfering with wild birds or animals. Often our wisdom is far inferior to the simple parental care of natural parents. Same is with humans. History shows that the more government interfere the more problems we have.
Yes we have to organise and speak one language. I mean we all have to sing in one well conducted choir our demands, and government's crime. I have more reasons perhaps than many others to call our government a criminal and terroristic organisation.
There is a bit of a problem on our side that we fail to organise and see which way to go, partially the forum organisators, and definitely the way the government and our lives go.

I am quite frustrated but try to respect your feelings as I went and am undergoing through a similar trauma as most of you.
What I want to say, this title and much time spent on it is not really helping the cause. It looks like a chat rather than organized action. Lately I've mentioned on the forum on "who is the leader of this site", what I think.
Basically, a simple statement like: "nobody in government, nobody in clergy, nobody next door, nobody is capable to care for the children as natural parents. It is irrational to even suggest that anybody other than parents know best what is best interest of children."
Sure such major statement should be discussed and proposed collectively and also sent to similar groups for aceptance. On a specific website, let the documents and discussion be uploaded along with short explanation.
Than the next issue should be listed after debate and backed by documents, to show that truly government forces the worst possible interest of our children and our families.
Folks, for how long should we chat that King Henry the VIII did not acted in the best interest of the nation, nor his wives but in the best interest of his own ego?
Current family law is not much different.
It is against the nature and illogical to even contemplate that Mr Rudd or any other professional liar can act in the best interest of your and my children.
Small argument should convince some sceptics. Mother/father in law have natural interest to care for their grandchildren as they have passed some of their genes. In almost all cases such care is unwelcommed and often end up in disaster.
If those who contributed with their genes are unable to care for your children, it is absolutely impossible that anybody else can.
We may provide huge amount of proof for that, but why. We can simply ask the officials to piss off. They have no rational arguments for their interference.

best thing for undemocratic dictators-

some parents are not parents-
there always must be compassionate balance-
some parents murder children.
apparently in Australian Law, not one grandparent has, to this day, been found guilty of harm to a grandchild-
(now watch them try to change it, now brought to attention)

Where money for children is involved you are sure to find evil.

We are gathering all our arguments and our proof. On the site over at alecomm.com you can file either a preliminary docs complaint or an official one where you DO upload their lie, and your evidence. simple as that. All information being gathered for Australian Crime Commission, ICAC, the DPP, just gathering at moment. The more the stronger our case is. NSGBD is tackling the legislation side, and alecomm is tackling the criminal side. Nobody is in charge, we are all just working together. We have all had our lives controlled by the government for far too long and we're taking back whats ours, the harder they're pushing at the moment, the harder we're pushing back.

Thanks for tips. I've visited the site a few times already and was looking for a general introduction page to see who, what and where are heading. Will visit again and probably join in as I see that on forum participate some folks I meet here.
I still have to understand the idea of the project to participate fully and productively.
To what I understand it, I have difficult of where to start. In my case, there is kidnapping, home and asset robbery, making me homeless, jailing me for fulfilling my natural duty as father, jailing me for demanding justice, letting children in care of fanatical sect, refusal to accept my report of children abuse by the state etc. All aspects are serious and complex and interconnected.
I hope that with your help I can do it.
Regarding turning up on the meeting. Why not but I live in Adelaide. Where the meetings are held? Perhaps in Sydney.

As I only browsed on the alecomm site, on the forum, I feel for those who question the authorities and I think I will write an article on what is behind the door regarding government care. Here is just small insight into a "proper care".
My older friend have introduced me his very and very young girlfriend, young and cute. The next day, she rang me and started to talk things I am unable to repeat which also included abusing me and some sexual fantasy as well as threatening me that she will make a good use of my address. I was so shocked and scared that I reported this to police. The suggested me to have no more contact with her and call police if she again does it to me. (she never did). But I've learned from my friend that she studies the social work specialising in children from dysfunctional families. He asked me not to worry about her as she has paranoic schizophrenia and has periods of violence. She violently through him on the street from her unit. I contacted her universtity passing my knowledge that she is aggressive and has sexual fantasies plus serious mental problems. She while studying was already working with such children part time and she often was the only person through the night to "care" for children in shelter or care homes. Well university nor politicians did nothing.
This is a proper care government provide to the kidnapped children from normal (temporarily troubled family) family. There is more to how the "proper" care look like.
I think I have to write a bit more exhaustive article and publish on my website, here and on alecomm.

By the way I possibly could include on my webpage and later share on other websites the Luke's drama if someone made it short and included what is relevant to the topic government vs father/parents care. The point he to show is: even if Luke's father would be troubled by something, one did not kill his son, but government who is the ultimate parent did despite father begging to stop an abuse of his son.
If someone could take the story and pick the facts to show just this point I would be glad. Maybe Luke's father?
Also other people's stories which contrast the care of state vs parent. In my case I was and am a perfect parent (described on my webpage) and government kidnapped (I suggest we all use this term) and let them in hands of fanatical sect with extremely serious consequences.
