Dorothy Pratt an Independent MP born 11 March 1955 for Nanango one of Queenslands oldest towns, proud of its unique heritage and colourful past, setting is of a country town offering country hospitality for the historic living and pastime type traveller.

Nanango is part of the South Burnett food and wine trial settled by Europeans in 1847 originally called Noogoonida by the aborigines. Its principle industries are pork production, dairy & milk processing, timber growing and milling, small crops and of cause natural medicine.
