Where's the love? Problems for Foster Carers with FSA

Our Story: My wife Meg and I were Foster Carers for two boys aged 5 and 9 for a total of 18 months, up until mid January 2009, when they were removed from our care in the most heartless of ways by Families SA

In the short time we had them the boys had made tremendous improvements even though their background was one of tremendous trauma. They had already been with a previous Families SA Foster Carer who had been appointed even though he had been jailed in NSW for carnal knowledge. (Sex with someone under the age of consent.)

Older foster carers make wonderful carers. We need more of them.

I would just like to mention that with a shortage of foster carers, we are lucky to have so many elderly foster carers. I am sure that it would be a preferable residence to many homes where abuse and neglect occur.
"An active child" is what they called my son in a child safety affidavit from a pediatrician. Why did that put him with a 74 year old, with the three other children. Why didn't they remove him when he was continuously injured.
The last time I saw my son on a visit he had scratches on his face. I insisted it be recorded and I was told he did it himself.
