I found out during court proceedings that my ex (the father of my children) was a child molesterer and still the Dept. and the courts were letting him have unsupervised visits. He has a child from a previous relationship and he is going down the same road as his sick father. The Dept. now have the children in their care because of the lies that he told the courts that I was doing stuff and it turned out that he was the one doing it but because he had sowen the seed of doubt with the courts Child Safety then decided to take the children from me. I have had a very strict 17 mth regiment with them and possibly another 12 mths. He is now apparently in jail in NSW and no one apparently knows why? I don't believe it for a minute that Child Safety don't know. He has had to report to Child Safety every time he moves and no one from Child Safety decided to check it out and find out why? This has let my children down as this man removed the children from my care that was ordered by the courts twice and I had to get a recovery order both times one of them the chidren were just a few streets away from where I lived. Yet he can just lie and get what he wants.

I thought our children were in serious trouble at the negligent acts of DoCs NSW.
This site has opened my eyes to Government Dpt's gone absolutely stark raving MAD.
How much longer do they think people such as ourselves will suffer,tolerate and endure these copious amounts of Government failures relating to our vulnerable children.
Nothing short of a ROYAL COMMISSION will fix these immoral , unethical and negligent practices of insanity by our so called members of PARLIAMENT.
We the tax payers must demand our taxes are used for a warranted and justified ROYAL COMMISSION into these corrupt, unaccountable, unconcscionable Governmental departmentments.
Please be strong Tajmahal.. Take action... campaign with others in your state... do not allow them to intimidate and demeen you in any way.

Unfortunately the evil ones have whats loosely described as 'the law' on their side. The 'law' was framed by totally incompetent politicians who were elected by brain-dead sheeple who wouldn't know a good politician from a bad one, even if they cared, which they obviously don't. Laws are administered by public servants who don't have the intelligence to understand the dictionary meaning of 'public servant', and worse still, are invariably on a power trip. Its questionable whether power itself corrupts politicians and public servants, or rather that the smell of power attracts those who are susceptible to corruption. Whatever the case, the end result is the same: corrupt, inept & power mad officialdom.
The media is another issue again. As anyone who has read the Irving Wallace novel 'The Almighty' could attest, media enterprises potentially have infinitely more power than all the politicians on the planet. In present day Queensland, the media chooses for whatever reason to back the Blighted government, consequently much of the considerable amount of flack is being watered down.
The silliest problem of all is the difficulty of arousing sufficient public outcry to change the clearly unsatisfactory situation regarding not only DOCS but also governments & bureaucrats in general. At least half the population of Queensland appears disgusted with the antics of Blight & Company but still the standard response from sheeple I've questioned is 'we can't do anything about it'. Of course you can't when all you are prepared to do is to sprawl in front of the idiot box, suck on a stubby, and bitch to anyone willing to listen. If in the extremely unlikely event those millions who claim to be ropable with the our state government had the gumption to work together, the combined force would EASILY force a a dissolution of parliament !!!!!
Closer to home, we have at least hundreds & possibly thousands of victims of various misdeeds committed by DOCS goons. Its clear that the 'rules' are structured so that no individual can ever, or will ever, prevail against the combined might of the forces of darkness and equally obvious that a combined force of angry folk has the power to overturn governments. I'll address those points again, we CANNOT as individuals ever hope to win a legal battle because the combination of dirty tactics & costs will always result in our defeat. We WILL NOT ever individually win a decisive legal battle because one against an immovable object is madness. If the cabal of politicians / bureaucrats / justice system / legal system / media isn't an immovable object then I don't know what to call it.
I do believe the chances of success would be enhanced considerably with a class action, but its beyond me why so few exhibit interest. Success will only come when ALL victims agree to work together for the common good of all participants. What does it take to get everyone pulling together in the same direction ?? As I keep ranting "United we stand, Divided we fall". The basic concept is that unless the people are united, it is easy to destroy them. This is EXACTLY what the forces of darkness do so successfully.

My own story is similar to hundreds of cases in this state alone. NSW could be the first State to repair a failing system and troubled Department. I know that this proposal can use some finetuning and I am heading a committee to do just that. I intend to make the proposal to all the parties that I have suggested be part of this panel of advisors in order to get their spin on the idea. I also intend to assist by making the plan “doable” so that a model can be established in my area of Campbelltown and the funding, budgeting and governance can be finetuned and any flaws resolved. This idea comes from a substantial amount of experience and research into the many sad cases across NSW. I have already massed support for the plan and I intend to push this all the way.
I intend to show that the flawed system and its myriad of complex problems can be resolved in one swoop and that would be the immediate consideration of the legislative assembly to actively appoint a review board funding and proposal and start date. This would stop the constant abuse of power and removal of children from safe and loving homes and the refusal to protect children in a home that is supported by the case worker.
In the case of “Georgia and Luke” Children’s Law News there the magistrate concluded that the case workers had abused their power to remove and continue to refuse to restore in order to refuse to back down and personal opinion of the parents.
Proposal:
That Docs case managers and workers have no power other than emergency temporary removal of serious risk of harm. Once and if a child is removed then a panel of experts such as professional already involved in the child(ren) and families lives should be consulted and formed to make a conference and panel that reviews and makes the ultimate decision of removal to continue and or occur, in matters of restoration that the date be set within 30 days of removal with undertakings.
This would take the burden off the already overloaded foster care system and the courts. I have some very clear ideas for how this would be put into policy yet there are many factors that need to be considered. I have the ability to do the leg work and I know that a review committee would stop many of the issues that case workers and families are attempting to resolve. If it were not the case workers responsibility for the removal to continue the report between them and the family would improve dramatically and make an easier job for intervention and support to occur.
To the Honourable The Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of NSW in Parliament Assembled;
Request:
We the Undersigned request that a review Board/panel be appointed in all matters of Child care and protection orders that affect the child(ren) and their placement. Currently the sole power of a case worker to remove/restore a child(ren) is flawed and the children of NSW deserve a fair democratic system. A panel of professional is the best, fair way to repair this flawed system.
In the cases where children are already under PR to the Minister / Director General there should be the immediate consultation of such a panel of review. All factors are examined and a fair informal conference be held within 30 days of notice. Notice to be given within 48 hours of the working week. Such a conference should be reliant on the consensus decision of the panel and not of the sole opinion of the case worker and their manager. We the people feel that no one person should have that degree of power to be unchecked and answerable to no one in Government while court proceedings’ are current and can take years.
My committee meets each week to address this and other issues and finetune this proposal. I intend to meet with professionals of the recommended services to get their opinion and hopefully their support for such a proposal.

There is no Substance in the claims of that class action, its been near on a year, I have rang X amount of time and always told, Doctor is on it. then Anglea tells me, only 20 odd people approached.
Then I have a cop from Child protection unit, telling me that doctor is Flagged and they have concerns of his actions. What am I to think ????. I thought I had a valid claim also.

Hmm no wonder I haven't received a reply to the txt I sent to the no. I have an appt next wednesday to see my state member about my case and if I do NOT get any satisfaction from that meeting then I will be going to legal aid immediately to see if they will take the case. An advocate at Foster Care Qld told me that they may not take the case. If they don't then I will be thinking very seriously about going to the media which the advocate said I have every right to do. I have already sent a detailed email to Peter Dick at Radio 4BC who has the talkback show relating to social issues but have not heard anything back to date. Maybe I won't hear anything from him at all. If not I will ring his program. I have been accused of sexual dealings with infants and children, Due to this, My family has been destroyed, To Prove my innocents, I undertook a polygraph test conducted by Gavin Wilson in South Australia, I was lead to believe I past this test,as I later found the test conducted by Mr Wilson was poorly done, I recently saw on ACA a segment of professionals that could pinpoint the criminal. A Dr Edmon and a Police Officer Shane Brandle.
I believe if I can obtain another Polygraph that Asks the right questions with the above mentioned, Whether it be on ACA show or not.
I ask and plead for the opportunity to defend against these claims.

Class action and rally being planned in Sydney
Our group is more focussed on justice but can point in the right direction of class action. Civil action is another route. If you can prove lies and misleading of the courts ect you can sue for legal costs.
Also if Docs have forced you to do many courses ect and refused restoration too after jumping through their hooops that is another case for action.

I have a meeting by way of lawyers with a X concerning my son, this of cause will be over shadowed by DOCs, even if the said X partner wanted to return to re build the family that was murdered by DOCs.
This will also bring DOCs into focus,but,lawyers I have wont tangle with that.

About 2 odd months ago, I went to the Child protection unit,to request questioning upon myself of the claims that DOCs has of me and To show My innocents.
The cop, after doing a check on his computer, States to me, we have no concerns of you, we note that you have contacted DOCs many time concerning your family.
You are not Flagged in our system, I mention that DOCs claims I had Porno of children on my PC, He basically said his hands are in handcuffs.
I then mention that class action and the doctor, This officer, then tells me that Doctor is Flagged, I then said, What??, is he classed as a Pedo. ???. Cop says Yes.
Court :), bugga, cos, I dont dot the I's and cross the T's, legal paper work has become a Yoyo. its just a matter of time, when I get all the paper work in order. and the ball rolls :D

So you're doing the paperwork for court. Sounds like a complete pain. What approach are you using - better keep that simple I haven't had much to do with court.

But,seeing you here, is a bit odd, as there is many places for a child to goto that you can obtain the help you require.

I have read to through many of your stories and it is disgusting but please don't put all carers in the same basket. I have personal dealings with DOCS as my step son was taken from his mother and he has been placed in our care still under the order of child safety but neglected by them severly.
Also as a foster carer.
I have a baby in my care who we love dearly he has many medical problems and any money that we get from the govt. is a help but does not nearly cover the costs we entail for caring for this child.
That makes no difference to us we still love him and care for him like he was one of our own. We have a great relationship with the Dept that we deal with for the baby but nothign but trouble with the other Dept.
I have no idea how to complain I have tried the internal complaints which is a joke i have tried the commission for oyung people which i have not heard back from and I have tried writing a letter to the local member of parliament nothing changes. The brothers of my step son have been left stranded by the Dept. who was supposed to pick them up after school the grade oner was found ont he other side of a very busy road wandering as he had no idea what to do or wha was happening. They were stranded because the Dept forgot to ring and tell the carer that the visit had been cancelled.

I agree, not all foster carers are bad. Actually, some of the good ones are crucified for speaking against DOCS. DOCS actually takes away their rights as carers! I attended the forum in Lismore last year and heard several of them speak of the same abuse.
My children have had one family that was awesome. I actually spoke to the male carer when DOCS responded to my cry for help by taking my kids back into care.
There is a genuine need for child protection but the way it's structured (or not) is just exasperating the problems families are facing.
It's more a case of DOCS will use whomever they see fit to avoid accountability.
I am a survivor of DV and am being treated as though it's my lot to be a victim in life. It's not and I wont let anyone impose such injustice upon me!
I have a burning heart desire to establish a healing farm community that helps victims in their healing and growing. Even the refuges available to women escaping DV are pitiful. They usually get 6 weeks in which to get over their nightmare, find themselves a home and move on. It simply doesn't cut it. NO wonder they go back!
A victim is a victim by experience and pain, not by choice. They deserve support and loving guidance when they seek assistance. To crucify them for speaking out is a crime that keeps them locked in their dungeons. There are also carers who desire to give children the childhoods they otherwise might have missed out on. In joining the cause, make sure your point of view as a carer is heard.

Healing Farm

It is something that has occured to me often, I have had a lot of foster children who have come from a refuge or because of domestic violence.
Someone should be providing homes where a parent and the children can be fostered together. I like the idea of your healing farm.
I guess the aim is to provide a home to go to where there isn't a time limit on the period they stay, no pressure to heal?
But yes, carers who speak up (and I was warned before I did it myself) get quite swiftly punished by managment. I keep wondering if there is going to be an end or they just try to wear you down to the point of giving up.
Like you Joanne, I'm not keen to be made a victim even if the reality is that I have been forced in to this role for now.
Can't say I ever found accountability within DoCS myself but there was more hope for some sort of action whereas the new ammendments to the Act in NSW will place children behind too many closed doors for them or their concerned parents to be heard.

I have envisioned a farm for healing since I was 14.I have suffered from abuse for a long time! It's what you do with the experiences of life that matters... Trauma of the human soul is no little deal. It takes time, understanding, love and a lot of effort to overcome it on the victim's behalf. Nobody can walk away from the victim mentality without love. Love is the fibre of which the fabric of life is composed of. Without it life cannot exist.
I am releived to have you acknowledge what I say. You are a carer. You are passionate about families... Thankyou.

Now, as to the healing farm, it could be expanded into different areas too. A housing crisis? Section off areas and give young men the opportunity to build chalets/cabins for themselves. Offer them a builder to guide them and the resources to do it (strawbale, mudbrick etc. cheap).House them in backpacker style accomodation in the meantime... You soon would work out who was serious and who wasn't.Employ them to build additional homes and to do organic farming. Another two problems solved, food supply for such a place, employment and housing for those that are unable to build their own.
It would be sectioned off so that individuals experiencing different trauma's would be given their privacy.
I want a class action. I want justice and I want THEM to put up the funds to help the people that need it PROPERLY. I know that I cannot do it alone. Everyone touched by the injustice of this system, MUST SPEAK UP!!!

About two hours ago I went and signed your petition Joanne, good on ya. I hadn't realised that phone calls alone could have a child removed.
Early Intervention in the form of Brighter Futures is supposed to be getting a huge government boost in NSW so maybe this will help future parents keep families together. For myself I don't believe it, I suspect the NGO's put in charge of it will develop a culture of selecting their newest clients from their communities in need.
I think as a carer I get to witness a lot of injustice, it is a hard position to be in. I have sympathy for the parents and often find myself not believing a child should have been placed in care. Officially I have no standing so the most I can do is keep others babies as safe and happy as possible. This system does not appreciate anyone questioning.
This farm, love it. It is a good idea and gives an insight in to what a warm caring person you are. I hope something happens soon for you to be able to start working on your plan to help people.
There is always the huge gap between "speaking up" and "being heard". The problem in this system is the public, they are unaware. The media often complains about DoCS when they can get a story but the parents wont talk while there is a chance of their children's return, us foster parents get punished as well along with the children so do not speak up.
I mentioned it not long ago but it wont change, they have little hostages in our homes. Now if they legally, after awhile, made foster parents significant in any legal way it could cause huge problems for mums and dads out there. Catch 22.
Then why are there many that are deaf ?.

Did you really think I was a happy little foster parent trucking along cuddling other peoples babies and hanging out on Altnews to only do good for others where I can? PFFFT.
First I watched children damaged then I complained and then the punishment followed. I didn't even know there were Forums about child services until I came across altnews looking for other information about the department, about three months ago now. I found parents that felt the same way I seemed to and still do.
Now a lot of them seem to have no understanding how a non-biological parent can feel the same way as them, I give not a toss for their understanding. I do give a toss for the children and any person suffering for any reason.
Black Cloud, my man I wished for a medical induced coma until it all went away. I have no idea where to put myself half the time, similar to you one either falls in to the grief or is held together by the anger and often we fluctuate between these emotions. Hopefully I can give a bit of support to others along the way.
I figure doing a documentary on Underbelly would be self promotion?
Each time I see a news report on a child treated badly by a parent, a foster parent, another child, or the system, I find it completely unshocking; I can counter with three more stories that I have witnessed or have been handed after the damage has been done.
Us foster parents are quiet in general, we don't tell our stories; for the hostages sake.
Maybe there is no justice to be found. It could be a reality that needs to be acknowledged.
Don't have a fit at me, I am tired tonight, feeling warn down. Tomorrow I will hopefully wake up angry and begin again.
A question to anyone: Can I give up on some children to help some others without the certainty that it will help?

I too was a foster carer until just recently and I over the 11 years spoke out whenever I thought the wrong decision was being made or naive decisions by young social workers. However the punishment wears one down and when one doesn't conform they move in. They The DOCs removed our son for no reason and had to give him back when ordered by the court.However the 23 days he spent away from us was hell and he needed counselling. So yes I can see why Foster carers don't speak out they just get gagged. My husband and I actually resigned for lack of faith in the DOCS but we dearly miss all those little children we have nurtured over the years and their families who have become friends.

I have been fostering for 11 years, I spoke out once here and have been treated quite badly ever since.
I may well be following in your footsteps although my own teenage daughter they are more than welcome to. I would suggest they bring in the army if she decides not to budge.
Can I ask why they ever went near your own child?
I have no faith in DoCS although I have a lot of faith in the caseworkers I have met so far in my area. I have had the pleasure of meeting some really caring and lovely young ladies but their managment in general has not been a reflection of them.
My fostering days look to be coming to a forced end and I have no idea what I will do with myself after 19 years of parenting to date.
I think first on my list is explode, loudly, clearly and as far as possible in all directions.

They removed our son because we weren't prepared to be slapped on the hand when they decided a matter of concern on a foster child was substaniated that we denied, a teenage foster child who was angry at us for stopping her from seeing her 18 year old boyfriend.. So because we wouldn't legitimate their claims by default they removed our son. Bearing in mind we have had our son since birth straight from the hospital and became his legal guardians. I feel for the foster carers
Even though the foster family that had my son for 6 months kicked him out on the street the day before christmas, I am greatful to them for looking after my son properly while he was in their care.
I know how energetic he was and how much attention he needed. I devoted my life to him when he was alive, and I begged for the chance to have him back in my care. He was all I lived for and still is.
It must be hard for a foster carer to make these decisions. Who to keep, who to say goodbye to. Who to trust.

Michael these decisions are easy, you keep them all until you are told to give them back. I have never once in 11 years even asked for respite. In the last two years I have not had a day without a child in my care, I don't leave them and I don't get babysitters in. There are already too many grownups in these wee kids lives.
It's a commitment from start to finish. The most important thing for these kids is parents and visits while with me and then all the playing to keep them busy until the next visit with mum or dad. It is easier than most foster parents describe (for those that only have the young ones), the complications start with the agencies we work with and not with the children.
Your love for Lukey is undisputed and admirable. Your grief and loss understandable and your continued fight for you boy is comendable.
You and Luke are often in my thoughts and I hope every day that the pain you feel becomes less of a struggle.

I have to do whatever I can for Luke. I always did and I always will. Where I failed was not being able to be thought of as a good father by DoCS. Everyone could see how much I loved Luke and that he was better off with me. By fighting for justice for Luke I still have him in my life. I don't know how I could go on without living my life for him.
I have generated over 10000 hits on Luke's various sites in the last week. Not all of them are positive and some just make me cry. I know I must accept responsibility for the death of Luke in some way. But...they made it impossible for me to get him back.

I kissed him and tried to act happy so as not to upset him, but I was worried sick throughout the whole visit about him going back to that house, especially with the scratches on his face. When I mentioned the scratches to the visit supervisor and informed her he was always bruised and scratched, even burnt, she told me he had scratched his own face, that is what his foster carer had told her.
My suspicion is the old lady let them all abuse my little baby and turned a blind eye to it. Luke drove off in the back of the child safety car and I collapsed to the ground in front of the playground and cried and cried and cried.
I kept telling people I knew I was never going to see him again. I was standing on the shore and looking out to sea. He was in a boat drifting further and further out to see screaming "DADDY, DADDY."
I did a drawing for him but I was telling people "I know I am never going to get to give it to him."
That is how strong the bond was between me and Luke. I cried that whole week til I got the call that Luke was in intensive care.
When they finally let me in to see him, half his brain was dead because he had been left lying so long with a fractured skull. He was in a coma, on morphein, but when I said "Lukey, Daddy's here", a tear came out of his eye.
I watched over the course of six days as Luke's brain died off and he lost control of each organ. After the third day they wanted to turn off the machines as he was still not breathing on his own, and had not done since his arrival at hospital.
I went to him in his coma, and I said to him "Luke, you start breathing for Daddy, right now", and I started breathing real loud to show him I wanted him to breathe.
My little champion started to breathe for me, and kept breathing for 8 hours, til it was just too much for my little baby. He made me so proud. I stayed and slept with him in my arms each night until on the final day they turned the machines off and Luke died in my arms.
I let his mum sleep with Luke in her arms on the last night because I believe a sick child wants to be in his mothers arms, and a dying child wants to die in the arms of his father.

Are the children in care with you through an NGO? The NGO should be liasing with the department for you. Are you in NSW?
They must cover the medical bills, even pre-school must be paid for in full by the department and not the foster parents means tested for this or subsidised.
A visit gone wrong, or lack of communication is a potential disaster but if they are okay it is best left now. Choose a complaint and push it through, multiple compaints muddy the waters somewhat.
One battle at a time. Medical bills, e-mail caseworker, then go to manager, keep going up if you get no response with a pause imbetween (you never know they might surprise you) until you reach the Ombudsman's office.
Hard to advise without details and you will get in trouble if giving any details online. It is "suggested" not to identify oneself as a foster parent on line.

Yes I have this video footage hiden in every corner of the house and buried in the garden. Slow internet prevents me from uploading it as yet. The children were treated like dirt by QLD police and DOCS. We have photo evidence that the children were abhorrently neglected whist in foster care and it has come to our attention the foster carers for our baby are to embark on yet another away trip away only to leave the baby in respite again where the foster parents have expressed concerns of the childrens welfare. Take a guess, we wanted access during their numerous vacations and do not feel that the neglect is in respite but more so in foster care due to the foster parents desires to take multiple vacations within a 2mth period. These carers are using the baby's money to provide for there vacations and using our need for access to dump them at any and every stage they can to go on extended holidays... They say they will take the children on the vacation but they do rely on the fact that we will say no so we can have access. In the mean time they do not give a flying fuck what happens to my baby girl. It is a recipe for disaster.

It is important to note our children were removed 3 weeks after the Kevin Rudd stimulus package was announced, illegal attempts were made to get the before Xmas bonus by misreporting the true date of the removal, and the children will be returned after the last bonus has been received.
Are we seeing more removal of children since the Rudd money has hit the scene? Most definitely! I see an influx of grab kids, get as many as they can in a single home and cash in. There is extremely strong evidence of an overwhelmed foster system.
Foster parents are willing to take on the extra children to the point they are overwhelmed. They seem to take the kids, take the cash, and then complain about how hard it is, and then proceed to push the kids out the door into respite and anything other than take on the true responsibility of raising the children.
Foster parents do not have to take on extra children or extra responsibilities what-so-ever, the Rudd money is making these foster parents get greedy and DOCS are taking advantage of the extra placements in foster that are now becoming available. At best, DOCS do not know what the hell is going on. Foster parents don’t love these children as much as they love the cash nor do they love the children even close to how a real parent does. WTF do they expect?
Only time is going to show the results of what this dangerous recipe of unnatural intervention is in essence. It is greed alone powering this along. It’s sad but our children’s lives are now held by a thread for the love of Rudd money. Thanks Rudd. DOCS, Police, Centrelink and Foster care agencies collaborate to lie in court, misreport dates, deny access children abused in care and rob legal entitlements to parents. They use derogative language, and even go as low as name calling in courts to assassinate loving parent’s character. The statement “Government department work together” has turned into Government departments sleep together..
It is not an unfair assumption nor implausible to suspect that this new “government department’s work together” policy has created a new breed of corruption around a new stolen generation. With an economical recession bearing down upon these workers, loss of jobs, lots and lots of cash to be had, couple this with work association and relationships that develop between gov departments and workers adorned with a boundless rudimentary brand of power, corruption is a welcome old friend and an all new Rudds money stolen generation has been born.
Since my children have been removed, the poor children have been treated as unwanted by foster parents. They have been put in vacation care, respite, day-care, therapeutic preschool and are lucky to spend 2 days a week at the foster carers home.
Since Docs have removed my children they complain of not having a fresh adequate lunch for school, my baby has often presented with bruising and on more than one occasion she was covered from head to toe with open infected wounds from mosquito bites. The children have complained of being absolutely confused and overwhelmed by being moved around from respite to day-care to vacation care and numerous other services (friends) that DOCS desire to support with its purse.
The baby has no sense of who it carers are and seem to go to everyone who wants their attentions and affection. At one stage the baby displayed some extremely unusual behaviour, reacting unusually to eye contact, she would look towards the floor with fear and apprehension to normal loving interaction.
All the foster parents that have had anything to do with my children have complained about being overwhelmed. One thing is complaining about being overwhelmed and asking for more DOCS handouts and another thing is being overwhelmed and admitting you’ve taken on more than you are capable of and taking risks with other peoples children.
Sorry but from my experience alone, IMO Luke's death was a direct result from the temptation to foster parents to hold onto more children in care for just that bit longer and DoCS disorganisation due to the new Ruddly interests in keeping more and more foster kids in a single home. The conclusion of this is as obvious as the apparent abhorrent care of foster children.
Luke was a defenceless child and never stood a chance against the systemic abuse conveyed by the government via a stampede of greedy Rudd money luvin foster parents willing to become overwhelmed with more than they can handle.
I wish Luke’s life being lost could have been for better reason than the above but this is the sad truth I believe, Out of control and out of touch insane people around and in these organisations..

I was told concerning DOCS you have no rights. The police do not have to find you guilty or find evidence, as far as DOCS are concerned, if it's alleged, then you are guilty. This came from DOCS themselves to me. You get one team leader who will lie, tell you one thing, do another, and when you call the department on their bullshit, you get more heat put on you. DOCS qUEENSLAND are a law unto themselves. Gl all in this action. Even the premier and minister margaret keech have done nothing to look into this after receiving my emails, yet they acknowledged they got them.

The whole child protection system is corrupt. My dealings have been with Tweed Heads and there is no accountability for any of them. When it gets too much for one worker, they just move them to another area. From what I can see, there is a lot for them to be accountable for. New Victim of D.O.C.S.
Hi my name is Rob - I found your web page whilst trying to find someone at D.O.C.s who can help me.
I'm 54 years of age & have sole custody of my 15 yo daughter and up until recently, 47% custody of my 8 yo daughter.
After many years of unsubstantiated allegations & investigation by ATO, CSA, DOCS & Police - enough mud had been thrown - to take my eight yo away. Althugh DOC'S deemed it was 'safe' to leave my 15 yo with me.
In the few weeks I have been involved in DOC's I can't believe the discrimination I am facing - & the very one sided investigation. It is clear DOC's have found me guilty prior to any findings.
While this a very emotional time for myself and daughters - I am very keen to assist & find out more about the "class action" mentioned on the web page.

I hear what you are saying, there needs to be more than a class action. The child protection agencies must be made accountable. A class action is just the beginning. We all have to unite somewhere. They ignore our singular complaints, it's time for the army of us they have built to stand up and fight. Have you heard about the NIcholson verses Scoippetta case in America? Google it, you will find it very interesting. I have considered asking for involvement from them but the fact remains. We DOCS victims have to band together to make them accountable.

HI there. I am appreciative of the way you have received me on this site. For the record, I personally know a lady that is living with a 21 year old. She has been with him since he was 13. DOCS are ok with that and the fact that my son (12)went there for six weeks when he decided that he wasn't going to listen to me or my partner. (I recently got him back from the abusive environment of his grandmothers. and, yes he was under the care of the minister.) DOCS are not consistent with their case management and it often differs between area offices and even caseworkers. I am HAPPY TO HEAR THAT DOCS VISIT THIS SITE!!!!HI! I agree that there needs to be child protection. There also needs to be consistecy, truth and assistance for victims. We are all human here and all make mistakes. DOCS should not hold past mistakes against clients. Everybody grows, learns and changes unless they simply don't want to. The fact that we are all here should demonstrate that we are wanting something better, bigger and more for our families. It's the people out there that try to hide their mistakes and avoid accoutablity that you need to be aware of.

I have found that Child Protection agencies work by isolating people, by making them feel like they are discarded from society and don't stand a chance. I have disassociated myself with all my friends who have children. My best friend had a baby girl last year. I have seen that child once. She is also friends with the carers of my youngest two children. My social circle is minimal because I AM THE ONLY ONE I PERSONALLY KNOW GOING THROUGH THIS!!!!

When he was removed from his parents care his father had been drug free for almost six months, had a full time job and stable accommodation with a single mother and two children.<!--break-->

FROM: Michael Borusiewicz
I am the father of the Child Luke Borusiewicz. I have some concerns regarding circumstances surrounding the death of my son resulting from injuries which occurred on Monday 12th of January, 2009.
1. He was not under satisfactory supervision at the time of his death.
I disagreed with decision to place my child with a 74 year old woman who was already burdened with three older children, all at home on school holidays. This would make it virtually impossible to show the care and attention needed for a two year old child. I voiced my concerns to Child Safety officer L. who supervised my visits with Luke, immediately upon her informing me of his change of residence and carer. I also stated I was worried about the 3 older children bullying my child, and a constant list of previous injuries which he had sustained.
2. The injuries sustained by my child
I am puzzled by the severe bruising of his right pointer finger. The police are confident the old lady was not capable of causing such an injury but I would like you to take into consideration it may have been caused by one of the other children, who were the only witnesses to the actions which caused Luke’s death.
My suspicion is that he may have been held by the right pointer finger by someone’s left hand whilst being struck by the other hand. Not knowing the size of the other children I would ask that you consider and investigate these as legitimate possibilities.
3. The constant injuries sustained by Luke whilst in the brief care of this elderly lady.
These included a severe burn to his hand and constant severe bruising to his head and body. At the day I last had contact with Luke he had scratches on his face which I asked the visit supervisor L. to record. Other injuries were also witnessed by visit supervisors, P. and J. at previous visits.
Two days after my last visit with Luke his mum saw a severe scratch on his penis which needed medical attention. I was also informed by J. during this week prior to the injury that he had severe bruising on his bum. She stated that it was from jumping off his bed. She informed me that she could not control him and he kept jumping off the bed. Did she inform child safety that she was not capable of proper care and control of Luke.
Why haven’t Child Safety been forthcoming with the list of previous injuries?
4. The failure to act on my concerns as a father about my child’s safety with this carer.
During the week preceding his fatal injury and immediately upon being informed of his placement with this carer, I embarked upon a tireless but futile attempt to have him removed from J.'s custody.
The contacts I made with child safety include:-
a)When I spoke to the visit supervisor L. during the visit on 5.1.09
b)A phone call with L. 6.1.09
c)A phone call with J. from child safety complaints in Brisbane on 9.1.09
d)A meeting with supervisor L. and Team Leader J. on 9.1.09
d)3 unreturned phone calls to P. A., manager of Child Safety in C. 2 of these were on 9.1.09 and one was on 12.1.09.
Luke’s mother, J., also voiced her concerns about his safety whilst in the care of J.
5. Why he was not given proper care at the time of his injury.
Why was he allowed to ‘sleep’ from 11am til 5pm. I rang the carer, J., at 11am on the day of Luke’s injury. She informed me he had returned home, hit his head whilst having a tantrum and had been put to bed.
I was very concerned after this phone call and immediately attempted to contact P. A., the manager of Child safety in C. This was my third attempt to contact her and voice my concern over his safety whilst in the care of J. None of my calls were ever returned.
I also rang L. from Child Safety C. and repeated my concerns. This was the third time within a week of the fatal injuries occurring, that I informed L. of my fears for Luke’s safety. First, at Luke’s visit the week before, and secondly, during a phone call when she informed me, two of the children were to be removed immediately so that Luke would receive proper care. The third time was during a phone call to organise a meeting with L. and the Team Leader J.
I phoned J.’s home phone at 1.30pm on the same day. The phone was answered by a child, who informed me Luke was asleep.
I rang a third time that day at 5pm to talk to Luke and was told he was still asleep. I commented that he doesn’t usually sleep that long and told her I would ring again soon. I did not want to upset his carer so decided to ring again the following morning.
My mobile phone activity report can verify the times, when I rang.
6. The inaccurate account of times supplied by his carer
I am suspicious of the reasons for supplying a misleading account of times for Luke’s injuries occurring and when he was put to bed. His carer knew his usual time for a daytime sleep was 1.30 and that it was highly unusual for Luke to go to sleep at 11am. As he returned from the visit an hour and a half earlier than normal, J. would have been informed and well aware of his early arrival.
I am suspicious that she is trying to hide the fact that his going to bed at this time, had never occurred before and was therefore a result of his head injury.
7. I am also concerned, as the father of a deceased child, and as the father whose child was placed in a supposed - ‘sanctioned safe environment’.
Who is responsible for sanctioning a 74 year old woman as a full-time carer of four young children. Even a responsible person half that age would have their work cut out for them, so why was Luke placed with a carer, who even admitted she did not want the added burden of another child; said, she did not want him – and yet, Child Safety saw fit to overload a 74 year old woman with a very active 2 year old, thus creating an extremely DANGEROUS environment of uncontrollability and neglect.
I believe the Child Safety Officers involved in the decision making processes of this case should be investigated thoroughly for neglecting their duty of care, - in (a) allowing a 74 year old woman to ‘care’ for 3 children, let alone 4 – plus, what about the other three children still in her ‘care’? Are they ‘safe’?? Do they suffer constant injuries?? Is anyone monitoring this?? Do ‘carers’ attend a basic first aid course, which would point out the obvious steps to adhere to if a child sustains a head injury- don’t let them sleep for 6 hours. Was it only my child who suffered constant injuries and would this be an indication of bullying from the older children.
I simply ask that you consider my concerns when you conduct your investigation into the matter,

Thank goodness someone finally had the gumption to get this started. Will be calling that number as I have evidence of my own. I have a close friend who has proof that DOCS have willingly purgered themselves in court and has been searching for a course of action to take, I'm pretty sure she will be over the moon to hear about this.
Sooner or later something will have to be done about departments such as this but with the damage done by Peter Bettie and his government this will be a long haul battle. It won't be easy but we work on in the knowledge that our children face far greater travesties of justice if we continue to do nothing.

about the class action thing
I just wish to say that there was an ad placed in the Cairn's Post back in November advertising they were looking for people to join up for class action against docs.
So I (and several others rang Angela) apparently it is a doctor up there who is seeing a lot of unethical goings on with the department of child safety and his clients. He decided that he will gather the details and then get a barrister to work on our behalf to start this class action.
I rang Angela she is like this guys secretary. I gave her my details then she sent me out a letter which asked me to outline in 2 pages about my issues with docs. I did this and sent it back.
It all seems very alturistic of him. I have nothing to hide so I am in for it to see if it can lead somewhere.
Docs seem untouchable and all controlling so if we can gather enough and get a class action thing going, then fantastic.
I might give Angela another ring in a few weeks and see how it is all getting on. Back in November I think there was around 12 people who had responded then.

There is a landline phone number & fax number on the letter they send. I've had a number of conversations with the people in Cairns and have no doubt the class action is legitimate. Main issue is that a lot of participants are required in order to cover costs & not enough victims have been prepared to raise their nose above ground level. Seems this is a perpetual problem, far too many sheeple waiting for someone else to do the hard work & expecting they will be able to take advantage of the efforts put in by those with a bit of life in them.

I am alarmed at what I am seeing about docs in my professional capacity. Some community workers are fully aware of what docs are up to. Some office department do not deal with docs much and therefore uninformed.
I do not suffer from paranoid schizophrenia whereby one would be suffering from grandiose delusions and think that the government is conspiring against them.
There is a whole group of us discovering for ourselves something fishy is going on. This is not communicated madness (?still can't spell that psychiatric word for it - it is french).

Poor darlings were let down again over a planed family meeting, some DOC's procedure stuff up and we had it canceled till after xmass, Most pathetic exuse ive ever heard in my life. They missed doing some affidavit and we needed to see it before we had a familiy meeting.
The access's go well but DOC's are working against us in every way possible.
It's like they use you children as a bargaining chip to make you not try fight them in court. You say something eloquent and factual that makes them look like they actually do (child stealer). They treat you like you are abusing your child fighting them (DOC's). I just want the truth to be told not the BS they submit to the magistrate.
The Court House today
I tried to ask for an application at the court house to appeal the court assessment order and they kept refusing me, they tried to make out i was being unreasonable. It was the weirdest thing I've ever experienced.
It took me an hour of mooting with 5 people to get a couple of stupid pieces of paper, They threatend to call the police.
Lawyers and clerks were literally running around like maniacs. I just kept asking and asking and they kept denying or giving legal arguments as to why I couldnt appeal. I was in my full legal right to appeal and I still was withing the 28 day period.
Question?
Why would the court administration practically trial me in a private room for over a common distric courts appeal application and threaten to have me arrested.
Shouldnt they of just gave me the form without arguments?

BTW they gave it to me in the end.
I even had to pry it from the gents hands.

Who from this state has had dealings with the Department of Child Safety?, and have beem abused. It could be for both child/ren and or Parent/s.?
Are you innocent of any wrong doings as claims from DOCS ?.
Have you had child/ren removed from a stable home.?
Has the man of the house, been unfairly arrested ?. and removed from the home ?.
Do you think your alone in all this ?.
Do you need a place to seek to obtain some form of advice and or help ?.

If you have had no dealings with this department, as yet, then this is also a good place to learn to and obtain good advice.
Do not think you will be immune to this. It just takes one phone call, and can be a false accusation.

Do not be surprised if they are collecting the class action suit letters at your post office or mail box.
Either sender or recipient may need to send or receive them from a different post office (post code).
These dogs are not above pulling any stunts. People have had their evidences stolen from cars and just recently we’ve had police following us around stalking us.
Another indident! We awoke one morning found after a long rainy night the garage door open wide. The floor was dry as a bone which is very unusual and we remember explicitly closing it the night before. Yes we believe someone had entered our home early that morning and walked around when we slept.

Either come clean and the face the consequences of your abusive actions.
Or keep lieing as you are and when your in court the truth will come out.
