I Have received a Mail & letter at my doorstep regarding winning of Australian Lottery from Continental Finance/ Security UK (61King street, wigto, cumbria,ca7 9ep england uk) with telephone, fax nos. & email id) for US$ 1.800.000.00 amounting to One Million Thousand UD Dollars) & they have mentioned Batch No; Reference No: Lucky No.; Ticket No. Lottery date (20/10/2007)with claiming the winning amount by 20/04/2008.
They have also told me to make payment of 150 sterling pounds & send it by courier after which they will send me the winning cheque. I have also received 2 calls from Foreign Operation Manager).
My question is that whether I should trust them or it is a Fraud ???

These 'lottery scam' people use the same old tricks over and over again.
Notice how names used to identify 'an official' in an e-mail are often names that are probably more familiar to English speakers in Africa.
Convictions for Internet Fraud in a country like Nigeria are at an all time high, but copycat scam operators are found everywhere.
Please beware...
