New Stolen Generation by DoCS

Thank you to those of you who showed up on Friday, 13 November 2009 from 10am-12pm at Parliament House, Sydney.

It was a fantastic day! 'J' and I only thought there were going to be about 5 of us, but on and off there were about 24 of you who turned up (some arriving early and leaving early) and some mid-way to stay and others coming late.

The petition was submitted to Parliament House, so we have 35 days to get a reply... so at least we submitted it before Parliament House sat! A big thank you to 'J' for coming 13 hours to attend!!!

I will be organising the next protest for February, and will let people know when the date is concrete, but I will be organising with several organisations who are keen to give support, so I think there will be more people next time.

From the beginning 'J' and I were prepared to stand there protesting even if it were just the 2 of us! So we are both over the moon!

This 'lifted' us all mentally and gave us our pride back. Better to be out raising our opinions to the Parliamentarians than at home complaining. Fantastic to all of you that came, you deserve a BIG pat on the back!!!!

its great to see so many people have their say and speaking out against DoCS,
in saying that i still feel very lost and alone and dont know where to find the strength to fight these bastards.if there is any other qld mums and dads out there that are feeling the same please let me know and we could chat. it would be great to hear from you and maybe we could get some stuff happening here in qld to.
they need to be accountable just as they try to make us accountable for their lies and false "RISK OF HARM" allegations...

Hi everyone...........

Just spoke to S.V from NSGBD

Unfortunately her computer has serious problems and she is unable to get online at the present time.

However, she would like everyone that will be attending the PROTEST on the 24TH February at Parliament House NSW 9am to 12pm....

to bring along their typed or hand written story relating to their story of their children in the care of DoCs. A4's one or two sheets.

Our stories will be handed over to Pru Goward on the day of our protest.

Start typing / writing people.

Identity abolished by Docs

So many children have had thier Identities abolished by DoCs, DoCs think its just fine to hide the real identity , background and culture of children in OOHC.

They have stolen our childrens identity and we thier family will not rest until it has been fully restored.

Lawyer has been retained Court case Section 90 to commence in next few months.

Lets not forget the The Stolen Generation Protest come Febuary 2010

DATE: Sunday 22nd November
TIME: 11am sharp till 12:30pm
ADDRESS: BRADFIELD PARK KIRRIBILLI, UNDER HARBOUR BRIDGE NTH SIDE.

WEAR: White for white ribbon day and bring white scarves to hide your identity.
BRING: Kids, friends, family (male and female) and picnic lunch (if you like).
MAKE: Banners (if you like) and keep them gender neutral if possible.
ALL BANNERS MUST BE CHILD FRIENDLY. (No black eyes or bloodied dolls this time he he).

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Get train to Milsons Point station (one stop from Wynyard) its a 2 min walk from there.
