I have notified Parliament House and will be filling out the Form 1 application to the Sydney Rocks Police Station. I have emailed SMH, the Australian and CBN news, a Current Affair, you name it I've emailed them! I don't know if they will do anything but they've certainly been notified. Please show up, because it is now your chance to be heard.

For those of you who don't want to come 'because there aren't enough people going' - there are never going to be enough people going - it's the nature of the beast in dealing with DoCS, ongoing court issues and the fear and terror child removal instills in us parents. I ask you not to sit at home because you can't be bothered, I will be there with a Linda Burney Mask and Wig on, I suggest you do the same if you want to attend but are now allowed to be identified (like myself). Simply print out a photo of Linda and stick it to tough cardboard backing and stick it around your face!

"The New Stolen Generation by DoCS" campaign is officially underway and we will be aiming to get 500 signatures to hand in to Parliament House.

PROTEST
“The New Stolen Generation by DoCS”

Friday, 13 November 2009, 10am—12pm
Parliament House, Sydney (Macquarie St)

  • Manipulation of the Child Protection Act resulting in increased 'Positive-FALSE' cases, with no chance of having these cases already in the system resolved
     
  • Mandatory reporting causing the increased removal of children. This is sending out a clear message to Australia that it is NOT OK to call social welfare services for help or ring the police for help when needed - as you are contributing to your own 'risk of harm' report.
     
  • Increased abuse of children - in the worst cases resulting in death after their removal from their parents on 'notice of risk reports' which may be obtained unethically. These innocent children are still left with no outlet to be heard
     
  • Meanwhile, the innocent children still left with their abusive parents CONTINUE to be physically abused, tortured and emotionally traumatised - in worst cases resulting in death. This organisation was created to stop this process from happening. Abusers are too smart to be found by DoCS, leaving DoCS to focus on the paperwork they get from Mandatory Reporting to justify their existence to the Government.
     
  • Corruption of the Children's and Family Courts leaving parents with nowhere to go due to the legal net our children have been placed in.
     
  • The new wave of tactics legally is to 'gag' the parents at the Children's Court, making them sign undertakings preventing them from speaking out - using the threat of suspension from seeing their children.
     
  • DoCS do not review carer's - if there is a concern they simply move them to another carer. They will not restore a child to their birth parents due to their outdated policies and the legalities behind this. The separation of siblings during the child removal process to 'protect them from remembered trauma' so that they can rehabilitate the child more effectively. This does even more damage to the children, is unnecessarily cruel.

Hello, I have been out getting signatures and handing our flyers for Friday's protest and the general public agree with the flyer. I have so far got 437 signatures and only need to get to 500 to hand it into Parliament on Friday. So here goes...!

DOCS abusing their powers

My wife and I am curreently facing all the dramas associated with DOCS WA. We have just had 2 of our 4 children removed to "temporary" foster care. This was due to a single incident that occurred after us trying to seek help through DOCS for our 2 troubled children for over 12 months. DOCS repeatedly refused to help us or even point us in the right direction for counselling.
