Send to friendwhat a joke the DoCS complaints line is, well it would be a joke except it is a tragedy.
When you ring them there is either no answer or you are put on hold indefinitely. How can this dept look after children if it cant even answer phones properly.
This service is here only to cover up the worst cases. There should be an independant company, an Australia wide one, that investigates DoCS complaints.

The Doc's complaint line?, they work for docs, and if we know the ropes we know they are a law unto themselves!!!!!!),Docs have quite a large Army in their employ ie; the crown solicitors officers of the court,independent children lawyers, legal aid lawyers and legal aid barristers, The ombudsman office, A large number of Psychiatrist's & psychologist's(hired guns),members of state and federal parliament, By the way hi Linda!. The list is like asking yourself where the sky ends. Their power,is endless.
I felt we had a fighting chance because of the huge amount of out rage, expressed at what are very similar experiences suffered at the hand of these remorseless scum!!!. After reading this web sight and other similar sights for months now, I've seen that hundred's of guests and quite a few members make up quite a large number of us that would be a force to be reckoned with, as we are fighting for what we love most in the world, not just a job and or money.
I felt we all could really do some thing big and make some noise, I even e-mailed Kevin Rudd about the protest today, along with the names of some sights he may wish to visit to see the amount of lies and corruption, the enormity pain and suffering going on his watch.
However docs can Breath easy a little longer as can the rest of the scum that prostitute their soles, at the expense of our precious children.
After all we had about 15 turn up at the protest today. a lot of the same faces as the last protest?

Dont waste your time or frustrations on the complaints department.I made serious complaint about a DoCs Manager sexual miss conduct whilst he was employed as a police court official.He was being investigated buy the police integritive commision .He quit and low and behold hes been appointed as DoCS manager.The response buy the complaints department that they ''Do exstensive checks'' before they appoint some one to Managment and they wont discuss and employes postion.I dropped the phone in sheer laughter.But I did inform them that this behavior was unexceptable and they have a ''duty of care ''to investigate the matter if they dont then there open to be sued civily.I then informed them what civial action means( immunity only goes so far )You couldnt hear a pin drop at the other end.There were no ware as smart when they know there own heads in the noose.You wont get justice playing there game you have to think outside the boxs,Go after the inderviduals in a more targeted fastion ,Get a recorder tape ever conceivable contact with them.Play the game as thoe your childrens lifes depend on it and in a very real way they just might.

Wonder if she got an explanation from the doCS secret society who investigates themselves ??????

I rang the Ashfield DoCS office back in October09 to put in a serious complaint regarding a serious negligent DoCS Case Manager, left my name and Ph Number, still i have not had a reply !
The line is a farce...............
However it just proves even more so , how shabbily this Government Dpt is run.
They just don't want to know of serious complaints = another lumpy rug with too much swept under it !

I wrote in complaints and many of them about the perjury that docs commited when giving evidence in court.
I did get one answer telling me to contact someone else and i did, all it ended up is passing the buck or saying its not there department .What we realy need is about 100 or more parents hopping on the roof of the family law court building putting up tents and refusing to move until there is a royal commision and our complaints are looked at ,iam that frustrated by not having my child i sometimes feel like killing these dogs .But i know it wont get me anywhere and i also have other children in my care that i love and i wouldnt want to lose them ,thats the only reason i havnt killed these lying scum bags .Sorry but i speak from the heart .Im sure if we could get a few hundred parents camping on parliment house doorsteps or the docs ministers doorstep ,someone will have to listen eventualy.We need publicity a few cases where docs have out and out lied and once that is proven the newspapers would come on side specialy if someone like a lawyer takes these cases on and starts suing the department in million dollar lawsuits ,There is plenty of cases that would be won including mine

You are so right about the DOCS Helpline to report the neglient Docs. In October 2009 I spoke to complaints Department Mr. Peter Freeman regarding certain Docs Workers he told me to send him a fax which I did immediately. He said he would ring me the following week. I am still waiting! On 19th. December 2008 I faxed a letter to 3 Departmental Workers including the Manager's Manager. I still have not had a reply! In April 2009 at Court I approached the case manager and asked her why I had not had a reply to my letter outling the many problems with the family that they were supporting to have the children. This Case Manager replied "Oh! I thought it was a complaint." I bet she did not pass it on to the Complaints Department!I suppose if i look down the toilet that is where the letter might be. I know where I would like to put it! I also on this day mentioned that a child living with this family was being visited by his father who had severly bashed the child over many years and why was she allowing this. She replied "Wyong is not my area." I THOUGHT CHILD PROTECTION WAS HER AREA!"
Everyone I speak to says that the Docs Workers lie and mislead even Solicitors I have spoken to confirmed this. They have gotten away with damaging families for far too long now. Their Omnipotent Vindictive Weilding of their absolute power so as to justify taking the children has to stop now. The time has come to all stand together to fight the workers who are rotten liars and the Australian Legislative Ethics Commission Website is a good place to start. I have trouble navigating that site. However I will soon learn.

There is nowhere to complain
DoCS told me to talk to their complaint line... that I would be helped blah blah blah.
So I looked up the advocates that would be helping me and there at the top of the list of who would help me was the very person I wanted to complain about.
Your advocates are the DoCS staff. If it isn't them the people you want to complain about is sitting at the desk next to them at the office.
How can you complain to anyone that is either employed by DoCS or funded by them?
You know if you have a complaint about an NGO in NSW you go to the NSW Childrens Guardian.. they are an NGO!
This conflict of interests runs through the whole system. You want help for your family you go to DoCS or an NGO - the same people who will take your child. You complain to the very people the complaint is about and on and on it goes.
You will not find an independant department with the Authority to help you.
Unfortunately Natasha, Wyong is my area. But here I see the departments outside of government and how they treat the kids as the problem. DoCS reduced to little more than the people who write the cheques and go through the initial placement and court stages of a child entering care.
The caseworkers don't seem to see the bigger picture or even concerned that there could be one.
