Previously, email addresses were hidden on this site using the reCAPTCHA module. The reCAPTCHA module would change the address to By clicking on the three dots, a visitor would be given a captcha to solve before the actual email address was revealed. Unfortunately this approach did not appear to be very user friendly with many people overlooking the link hidden behind the three dots.

Now, email addresses are obfuscated by the invisimail module which turns an e-mail address like webmaster@altnews.com.au into ASCII codes making the e-mail address unreadable by email address bots.

In theory, such code is not interpreted as an email address by the address bots trawling the Intenet while the address remains perfectly readable by humans...
