A few months ago the last nation Australia wanted to copy was America! A sentiment I wholeheartedly agree with. As far as I'm concerned about the only thing the Yanks have ever done right was kick out the Pommies! However, if Kevin Andrews MLA can be believed, we're following them down the road of having our Political system hi-jacked by rabid religious zealots.

I saw him on TV bragging about how almost half the Coalition Potations belong to some right wing Religious group based in Canberra!

Now I'd estimate about eighty percent of Australians are like me, have their own spirituality, but have realised that Religions which have Priests and/or Priestesses have long ago became nothing more than a vehicle by which the Priesthood gains status and/or power. This is becoming more apparent daily, as the scale of paedophilia, rape and other Deviot behaviour practised by these people is slowly being revealed. We certainly don't want these people running our Government and through that, our lives!
